inspired by Florence Broadhurst

So, I have always been a fan of Florence Broadhurst. In my second career one day, I'd love to be a full time textile designer. I've dabbled in this a bit, so I've always loved this gal. She was really a pioneer and well before her time in the pattern design world. She created modern, bold prints long before they became so popular. I was lucky to score this book (which I've been eyeballing for years) for 10 bucks at Anthro over the weekend! (Pretty excited about this purchase). Isn't the cover just beautiful??!!

"Butterflies"

"Honeycomb" one of my faves

"Romanesque"

my most favorite "Ikeda"

Florence was such a talented gal.

So, we did actually have a lovely labor day weekend, but since then we have all been sick. I still need to catch you up on some fun parties in Dallas!

Happy Thursday!
